RACE INFORMATION

The Running Wild Relays will feature a very flat and fast Open 5K (~1.2 laps around Credit Island) and a 4-lap Coed Relay with two women and two men per team. Each member will run one 4.2K lap around Credit Island Park passing a sash between team members.

​The athlete order will rotate as such: woman-man-woman-man.

  • Bananas, cookies, and water will be available for all participants.
  • Crawford beer, Athletic (non-alcoholic) beer, and various Coke products will be available for purchase.
  • First 100 registrants will receive a ticket for (1) free Crawford tall boy post-race.

RELAY ​CASH PRIZE POLICY

To compete for prize money your team must meet the following requirements.
  1. Teams must be made of two women & two men (in woman-man-woman-man order).
  2. Teams must successfully complete 4 laps with sash changing bodies to each of 4 participant athletes.
  3. Each team member must complete exactly 1 lap.
  4. Official scoring will be provided by End Result.
  5. Checks will be written to winning teams within 1 week post event
  6. A W-9 MUST be presented to Running Wild before prize money will be issued.
  7. Race Director retains full authority to resolve any disputes; his decisions are final and absolute.

REFUND POLICY

  • There are no refunds allowed for any reason including race cancellation. Any request for a refund will receive a polite but firm "no" with a direct link to this policy.
  • The Race Director reserves the right to modify or cancel the race or course for safety concerns or natural disaster. In such cases, there will be No Refunds of race entry fees. Each athlete must accept any such risk of their entry fee paid. There is no complimentary race entry to a future race. 
  • Entry fees collected are used to develop and produce the event, starting well in advance of the race date – including course preparation, prize money, race supplies, permits and administration. We pledge to make every effort to produce a fair and safe event for all participants. Any decision we make that impacts the race date or potential cancellation is carefully considered and based on the overall event safety and manageability.
  • Entry fees are non-transferable between individuals or to future races.
